Fallen Angel
Paper clay sculpture with acrylic finish – Symbolic figurative work
This sculpture represents an angel who has met an unfortunate fate. Its once radiant wings are now torn and broken, leaving it unable to fly. The angel’s disfigured face and softened form resemble a melted wax candle — a symbol of fragility, loss, and the passing of purity.
In its stillness, the fallen angel seems to have lost its own sense of life and movement, as if displaced from the world it once belonged to. When you look closely, you can sense that this angel — fragile yet haunting — doesn’t quite belong among the rest. It carries the quiet sorrow of being the odd one out.
