Overview
During my summer break, I independently reached out to UNICEF Mongolia and joined their “One Bagh, One School” project — a national initiative jointly implemented with the Government of Mongolia to improve access to education for children in remote rural areas.
My Role & Contribution
As part of the UNICEF project team in Selenge Province, I:
Visited local schools and met with students to understand their challenges and needs.
Helped design a website prototype to share project updates and educational materials.
Prepared a podcast featuring students’ voices and translated its content between Mongolian and English with input from international consultants.
Reflection
This experience taught me how creative communication and empathy can help bridge gaps in education and make real social impact — a reminder of why community-driven projects matter to me.
